Ted Dabrowski smokes other Republican candidates for Illinois governor in third quarter fundraising - Mark Glennon
The GOP nominee from four years ago, Darren Bailey, placed a distant third.
Ted Dabrowski is off to a big lead in the campaign fundraising contest for the Republican nomination for Illinois governor. Campaign disclosure reports for the most recent quarter that ended in September are now filed and show Dabrowski pulling in $1,257,200 for the quarter. Trailing far behind was James Mendrick, raising $35,200, and Darren Baily, placing third with $20,400.*
Notably, Republican megadonor Richard Uihlein shifted his financial support to Dabrowski. As earlier reported, Dabrowski’s receipts include $250,000 from Uihlein. For the 2022 race, Uihlein supported Bailey with over $12 million.
*Dabrowski’s receipts reported here do not include his loan to his campaign of $250,000 made during the quarter. Bailey’s report indicates that he is still owed $350,000 by his campaign fund remaining from the 2022 election.

That's exciting news! I'm sure Bailey is counting on Pritzker to make up the difference.
